(Joe Orgill: I apologize for letting this email sit for so long in my email archive, at the
time Vic sent it, I was not pursuing this interest as active as I am now. Anyway,
thanks VIC!!)

 Hello Again Joe,

I'm attaching a text file on the family of Orgills who
changed their name to Argyle, I guess if it's of any use to you I should
wack it into Brother's Keeper and then send it to you as a Gedcom file and
 include more family members.

I have Argyles, Orgills etc. saved as *.dbf files which I use with MS Works
to sort on the various fields, these are taken from the IGI CD ROM and
cover, Derbs. Staffs, Leics. and I think I have Notts. there as well. If you
want any info from these I can sort for what you're looking for or can email
you the files. I don't know how well you know the district with the Orgills
you mentioned in the UK but they're all around the county boundaries of
Staffs., Derbs. and Leics., I've a good Automobile Association Atlas of UK
and can scan any area you may be interested in. The scanner's like me
though, a bit long in the tooth, so the quality may be down a bit.
Incidently I was born in Leics. and my wife myself and two children migrated
 to Australia in 1963.

I now see that you are related to the Argyles in Utah through Edward
Orgill and Elizabeth Bath as per my attachment. There's a Joseph Argyle who
entered a lot of data into the IGI and he claimed a relationship between the
Arguiles of Barwell, Leics. ( my lot) and the Argyles of Market Bosworth,
Leics. so I guess Chapman was the link.

I've deleted the attachment, here it is in the message body.

One of their children Joseph Argyle bn.29 Dec 1782, Mkt. Bos. had a second
mar. to Frances Smith bn. c. 1790.

one of their children, Joseph Argyle bn. 12 Sep. 1818 at Mkt Bosworth

Hope the above is not too disjointed.
